ACMAC is located in the new campus of the University of Crete at Voutes, seven kilometers southwest of Heraklion, next to the University Hospital. The area can be reached from downtown Heraklion in ~20min by taxi (typical fare ~15 Euros) or by regular city buses (ticket price ~2 Euro).

Getting to Heraklion
Heraklion can be reached from the mainland Greece by plane with direct flights from Athens in ~40min or from Thessaloniki in ~50min. Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air, offer a number of flights daily. Direct charter flights from various cities of northern europe are also available, especially during the tourist season (April - October). Nikos Kazantzakis airport (airport code: HER) is serving the city of heraklion.
